He Enlarges Your Vision

“And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man” (1 Samuel 10:6).

When God chose Saul to become king over Israel, a transformation had to take place in his life before he could effectively fulfil that divine calling. Although Saul was physically impressive—standing head and shoulders above everyone else in Israel—his perception of himself and his life was still limited. He came from the tribe of Benjamin, the smallest tribe in Israel, and his thinking was influenced by those limitations.

However, God had chosen him for something far greater than his background, upbringing, or personal opinion of himself. That was why the prophet Samuel told him, “...the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou...shalt be turned into another man.” Such a transformation was necessary because God needed to enlarge Saul’s vision, increase his capacity, and empower him to see, understand, and function according to divine purpose.

This is part of what happens when you receive the Holy Spirit into your life. He changes the way you see things. He enlarges your vision and enables you to perceive what others may not perceive. He gives you the ability to understand situations and realities from God’s perspective. This is important because many people may look at the same thing but see and interpret it differently.

People understand and interpret life according to their level of vision, understanding, and insight. But one of the wonderful blessings of having the Holy Spirit in your life is that He opens your eyes to realities that others may never recognize. He gives you wisdom, foresight, understanding, and divine interpretation.

Perhaps you have viewed yourself only through the lens of your natural abilities, family background, or present circumstances. It’s time to see yourself differently. Through the Holy Spirit, you have been empowered and equipped to fulfil your divine purpose and accomplish the impossible, the unthinkable, and the unimaginable.

Even now, the Spirit of God is at work in you. He is enlarging your capacity for greater impact, greater influence, and greater accomplishments. He is bringing you into contact with people, opportunities, and resources that align with His purpose for your life. Many will wonder how you were able to accomplish such remarkable things. But it is the result of the wisdom and grace of the Holy Spirit working in and through you.

He has found in you someone through whom He can fulfil His purpose and establish His righteousness in the earth. Glory to God!

Prayer / Confession

Dear Father, thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. My vision is enlarged, my understanding is increased, and I see from Your perspective. I walk in divine wisdom, excellence, and supernatural ability today, fulfilling Your purpose for my life gloriously, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
