1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Workamet ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; changes take effect upon posting.

Workamet is a career platform that connects professionals with jobs, scholarships, fellowships, grants, and career growth services. We curate opportunities and provide tools to help you present yourself effectively to employers and programme administrators.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, submitting false information, impersonating others, scraping data, introducing malware, or interfering with the Platform's operation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Workamet or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

6. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Your interactions with them are solely between you and the third party.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workamet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. We make no guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or outcomes of any opportunities posted.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or us.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
