What you'll be stepping into
The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team, driving business growth, expanding market reach, and achieving monthly sales and portfolio targets through effective strategy implementation and strong team leadership.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and manage Sales Agents to achieve business growth objectives.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly sales and portfolio quality targets.
Build a performance-driven sales culture through coaching, motivation, performance monitoring, and continuous team development.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve Sales Agent performance through regular field visits, performance reviews, and structured reporting.
Lead and support marketing activities aimed at increasing product uptake and strengthening brand visibility.
Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports to senior management.
Work closely with senior management to align sales initiatives with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, credit procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related business field from a recognized institution.
At least four (4) years of relevant work experience in microfinance and banking.
Key Competencies
Proven track record of supervising sales teams and consistently achieving business targets.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge and understanding of microfinance lending practices.
Strong sales management and team development abilities.
Ability to analyse sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
