Role overview
What you'll be stepping into
The Business Process Optimization Manager is responsible for optimizing the Bank’s business processes and ensuring that process outcomes are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Result Areas
Build and maintain a comprehensive repository of the Bank’s processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policies, ensuring that all changes are properly controlled, validated, and approved.
Assess the impact of changes, including system changes, system upgrades, and legislative amendments, on existing business processes, roles, and responsibilities.
Continuously identify and introduce new methodologies, tools, and innovative approaches that improve process performance, efficiency, profitability, and the Bank’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify business process requirements and develop process improvements.
Ensure effective communication and cascading of process documentation to relevant end users.
Ensure the integration of effective controls into various Bank processes that are recommended or developed.
Evaluate, design, implement, measure, monitor, and control business processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Monitor and measure process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in any Business or IT-related discipline from a recognized institution.
At least three (3) years of experience in process development within a banking environment.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Ability to understand data, analyse information, and generate practical solutions.
High level of computer literacy.
