Role overview

What you'll be stepping into

The methods team improves the quality of service and increases the value added to procurement processes through process & procedures, analysis & reporting, performance monitoring, market monitoring, supplier development, planning & tools and third-party compliance processes. It assists in implementing a proactive, market facing and valueorientated organization with adequate methods. This position shall assist with the day-to-day administrative support of the department and additionally provide support to the Methods function in improving processes, supplier engagement and Due Diligence third party reviews and any other work or process improvement initiative as may be allocated.

TotalEnergies EP Uganda is looking at offering internship to University students in currently in the 2nd or 3rd year of study and would require a work placement as part of their course of study. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Contracts & Procurement Department.

Selection criteria

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from recognized National Universities

  • Must provide Introduction letter from University and copy of student I.D

  • Current academic scores must reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree

  • Must provide a partial transcript / copy of academic scores to-date

  • Must be available full time for the duration of the internship period

  • Excellent verbal & numeracy skills and problem-solving ability

  • Good communication skills and positive attitude

  • Must write and submit an internship application letter

Duration of internship: Minimum 10 weeks from June 2026

Note: Only University Students are eligible for Internship

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business (preferably in Procurement)
