What you'll be stepping into
As a Digital & Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for strengthening and expanding Jibu’s digital footprint by designing, curating, and executing content that reflects the company’s values, ambitions, and social impact. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and strong storytelling abilities to translate Jibu’s mission into compelling digital communication.
The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for executing and optimizing Jibu’s digital marketing activities to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and sales support across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Development & Storytelling
Develop engaging digital content aligned to brand campaigns
Create simple graphics, reels, and short-form videos
Work with internal teams to translate campaigns into digital content
Support storytelling around customers, franchises, and impact
2. Social Media Management
Develop and execute a minimum of three high-quality social media posts per week across Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Monitor engagement, track analytics, and optimize performance through SEO and other digital tools.
Manage and grow Jibu’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn)
Plan and execute weekly and monthly content calendars
Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely manner
3. Campaigns
Execute digital campaigns for product launches, promotions, and partnerships
Support sales campaigns (e.g., reseller recruitment, franchise promotions)
Track campaign performance and optimize for better results
4. Graphic Design & Branding
Develop creative graphic templates and campaign artwork at least five weeks in advance.
Design branding materials such as packaging concepts, rebranding initiatives, and logos for products or programs.
Take high-quality photos for company events, campaigns, and creative assets.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
Experience in social media management & analytics
Strong writing, storytelling & content creation skills
Video production & photography skills (shooting, editing, and packaging digital content).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Content Output & Quality – Minimum of 12 high-quality posts per month across platforms, aligned with Jibu’s brand voice and values.
Engagement Rate – Achieve and sustain a defined engagement rate (likes, shares, comments, CTR) per platform, benchmarked against industry standards.
Audience Growth – Increase followers/subscribers across all Jibu social platforms by an agreed percentage (e.g., 10–15% quarterly).
Campaign & Impact Visibility – Timely execution of planned campaigns/content calendar with measurable reach (e.g., impressions, video views, partner mentions).
