What you'll be stepping into
Job Purpose:
To providing technical assistance in studios during departmental projects to ensure effective delivery of practical-based courses in areas such as ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, product design, graphic design, fashion and textiles, and other applied design disciplines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and preparing studios and workshops for practical teaching, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness of equipment and materials.
Providing technical support to lecturers and students during practical classes, demonstrations, and workshops, including guidance on the proper use of tools, equipment, and artistic production techniques.
Operating, maintaining, and conducting basic repairs on workshop equipment and ensuring proper records of maintenance and usage are kept.
Managing workshop materials, tools, and consumables, including inventory control and supporting procurement by providing technical specifications.
Supporting students in practical assignments, exhibitions, research, fabrication, and final-year projects to achieve professional-quality outputs.
Assisting academic staff and students in research, innovation, prototyping, and the development of creative products while contributing to the improvement of production techniques and technologies.
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards in all studio and workshop activities.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Should have a degree in Fine Art or a relevant filed.
Practical skills and experience in art, design, fabrication, and studio practices.
Ability to operate and maintain creative production equipment.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with lecturers and students.
Problem-solving skills and willingness to support innovation and creative experimentation Submitted.

Responsible to : Assistant Nursing Officer
Job Purpose:
An enrolled nurse shall work under Assistant Nursing Officer to provide patient care in clinical and other medical settings in helping to create patient care plans, providing practical day-to-day assistance to patients and monitoring their vital signs, and working with other medical professionals to ensure the best treatment outcome for patients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
working under the supervision
performing physical exams, including checking patients’ pulse, temperature and blood pressure
assisting patients with mobility issues with personal hygiene tasks
working with registered nurses, doctors and other healthcare providers to create a patient care plan
writing patient notes
providing first aid in medical emergencies
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Registered with Uganda Nursing and Midwifery Council
Proven experience working as Enrolled Nurse.
