Role overview
What you'll be stepping into
The Diver should work below surface of water, free diving to inspect, repair, remove, or install equipment in the water.
KEY DUTIES
Inspect / check and repair nets/cages in the water.
Check and maintain diving equipment before Diving.
Inspect under water pipelines.
Participate in installation of nets under water.
Help in inspecting, cleaning and repairing pumps and valves under water
Collecting mortalities.
Adhere to the water health and safety guidelines at all times.
Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor / Line Manager.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Diploma in Fisheries and Management Technologies.
Knowledge in Swimming and Rescue skills.
Professional certification is a must.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Must be mentally stable to contain stress and pressure
Must be of a sound mind
Good visibility
A Sensory stability due to much concentration required for the job
Effective Verbal and written communication
Resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work within a changing environment and respond to different demands with a sense of urgency.
