Job Overview
The Cage making GW is responsible in assisting in the fabrication, assembly, and repairing of cages.
Key Responsibilities
Measuring and cutting pipes according to given specifications.
Assembling cage components using tools such as butt welding machine, cutters and drilling machine.
Operating machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Assist the supervisor on Inspecting cages on the lake for any faults
Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Performing repairs and modifications on damaged cages when required.
Following workplace safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Experience
UCE or any related technical field
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Physical fitness and ability to lift materials
Attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and drawings
Teamwork and communication skills
Understanding of workplace safety practices
