What you'll be stepping into

Performance indicators for the evaluation of results

  • Graphic Design Inception Report detailing the methodology, workplan, materials inventory, design and digitization approach, validation process, quality assurance measures, and timelines for all MWSC, PEO, PAO, and PRO products.

  • Digitized MWSC IEC materials in accessible, user-friendly, and visually engaging formats that support inclusivity, gender and cultural sensitivity, in-person and remote delivery, and diverse literacy and accessibility needs.

  • Redesigned PEO handbook with integrated graphic design elements to improve readability, visual appeal, layout consistency, and ease of use.

  • PAO and PRO orientation handbooks with integrated graphic design elements, incorporating feedback from draft reviews and the validation meeting.

  • Infographics, illustrations, icons, and other visual tools to enhance understanding, engagement, and usability of the PAO, PRO, and MWSC materials.

  • Print and digital versions of all designed materials, with editable files and reusable templates for future updates, adaptation, and reproduction.

  • Final approved materials in print, digital, web, mobile, and social media-ready formats, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, gender and cultural sensitivity, flexible delivery, and responsiveness to varied literacy and accessibility needs. The package should include editable source files and production-ready files for future use, adaptation and archiving.

  • Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Academic Qualification: Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Art and Design, or a related field

Experience

  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in graphic design with UN agencies, international NGOs, or local NGOs, in both humanitarian and development contexts.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing training materials, toolkits, and handbooks

  • Strong practical background in using design software and technologies (such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, Illustrator, CorelDraww, Dreamweaver, etc.).

  • Proven experience in developing digital IEC products, including interactive PDFs, e-learning modules, digital toolkits, mobile-friendly content, multimedia resources, and other accessible formats tailored for diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience adapting, digitizing, and transforming print-based IEC materials into user-friendly digital formats that are accessible, engaging, and easy to navigate.

  • Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and colour management

  • Familiarity with Migration, protection, or community-based programming (preferred)

  • Experience aligning with IOM or UN branding standards (advantage)

     

  • Languages

  • Fluency in English

Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
