What you'll be stepping into
The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) is a statutory body established under Section 9 of the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act, Cap. 161, in line with Uganda's National Oil and Gas Policy, which was approved in 2008.
The mandate of the Authority is to monitor and regulate petroleum activities in Uganda, including the exploration, development and production of petroleum, as well as refining, gas conversion, transportation and storage.
PAU ensures that petroleum operations in Uganda are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, statutes, and international best practices in the petroleum industry.
The Petroleum Authority of Uganda invites applications from qualified Ugandans who fully meet the required job specifications and possess the appropriate personal attributes for the position of Petroleum Engineer – Production.
