What you'll be stepping into
Project Manager (1 Position)
Reporting to: Program Manager
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering the required project outputs in accordance with established time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefit performance objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Undertake the day-to-day management of the project, working within the constraints and parameters determined by the Project Board.
Plan team tasks and monitor and review project outputs to ensure they are delivered within the set timelines.
Create, maintain, and regularly update all relevant project documentation as required by the Project Management Office.
Manage allocated projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, to the required quality standards, and within budget, while achieving the set project objectives.
Prepare and provide regular project status reports to the Project Board, Program Manager, and other key stakeholders.
Review project activities to ensure compliance with established procedures, policies, and standards.
Provide project teams with the appropriate tools, resources, and processes, and train and equip them to successfully deliver their assigned projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Business Statistics, or another related field.
Certification or formal training in Project Management.
Lean Six Sigma Certification or training is an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 1–2 years of experience as a Project Manager within a banking or FinTech environment.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software and project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a highly resourceful approach to work.
Good knowledge and understanding of Financial Technology (FinTech).
Demonstrated enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders.
