What you'll be stepping into
Job Purpose
To support the administration and management of intellectual property dispute resolution processes through legal research, case management, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of dispute-related documentation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, review, and process dispute resolution applications and pleadings.
Conduct legal research and prepare briefs on Intellectual property dispute matters.
Assist in the preparation of hearing files, notices, and procedural documents.
Maintain and update dispute resolution databases and case records.
Liaise with parties, advocates, and stakeholders regarding case management matters.
Assist in organizing hearings, mediation sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation.
Monitor compliance with procedural timelines.
Support implementation of dispute resolution policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
Person Specifications
Academic Qualifications
Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice is an added advantage.
Training in Intellectual Property Law or Alternative Dispute Resolution is desirable.
