What you'll be stepping into

Job Purpose.

The Resource Mobilization and Partnership Lead will connect vision to provision through building relationships that unlock resources, partnerships and sustainable impact to advance the Ministry's Mission.

Key Responsibility Areas.

1. Participate in the development and implementation of the Neighbourhood Resource mobilization strategy.

2. Lead proposal development and grant Management to diversify funding streams.

3. Identify, initiate, cultivate, and build long-term, trust-based relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive program growth.

4. Develop and maintain collateral packages for resource mobilisation and partnership engagement.

5. Manage partner Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and agreements.

6. Develop and execute donor acquisition, retention, fundraising opportunities, and stewardship plans.

7. Coordinate communication, accountability and transparency in resource utilisation and reporting.

8. Design and execute fundraising campaigns, appeals and events.

9. Train technical teams in proposal development, partner engagement, adherence to donor requirements, and timely reporting.

10. Maintain an updated database of donor engagements, partner contributions, and reports.

11. Prepare periodic reports on funding, partnerships, and program outcomes.

12. Monitor adherence to donor and organisational requirements.

13. Liaise with Uganda Support Office and other department teams to strengthen partnerships and align collaborative efforts across the organisation.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.

The applicant for the role should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or any relevant discipline, or relevant experience.

:

A master's degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.

At least 8 years' work experience in resource mobilisation, fundraising, partnerships or business development with an NGO or Christian-based organisations.

Experience in the development of successful proposals and/or tender bids to the EU, DFID, USAID, Christian Foundations, as well as other institutional donors.

Demonstrated experience in building strategic partnerships and networking.

Demonstrated experience in proposal writing or donor engagement.

Excellent proposal writing, storytelling, and presentation ability.

Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into funding opportunities.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications and data management tools.

Awareness of the Economic and donor landscape.

Outstanding computer skills; presentation, layout, graphic design, documentation
