Job Purpose
The Revenue Assurance Analyst will be responsible for performing and managing internal controls for Airtel Money to mitigate revenue leakages, revenue exposure, fraud, errors, and omissions.
The role will help institutionalize best-in-class Revenue Assurance (RA) processes in line with Group RAFM Governance Guidelines, ensuring high compliance levels, preventing revenue losses, identifying missed revenue opportunities, and taking proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
The position will work closely with CFT to detect, report, resolve, and prevent revenue-related issues within agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain Airtel Money compliance levels above 95%.
Implement, review, modify, and manage Revenue Assurance SOPs and RA manuals to address emerging risks and improve management of existing risks.
Roll out Group-wide Revenue Assurance initiatives.
Manage risk analysis for major system launches and ensure First Time Right (FTR) implementation.
Access knowledge bases and lessons learned from other operating companies to adopt proven processes, standards, UAT templates, and controls.
Detect and prevent revenue leakages.
Identify missed revenue opportunities.
Continuously review service paths and revenue paths and contribute to improving the RA control environment.
Work with CFT to understand the complete architecture, end-to-end service paths, and revenue paths.
Conduct risk assessments and formulate and execute UAT test cases.
Identify emerging risks and work with the business and CFT to develop appropriate primary and secondary controls.
Develop strong functional and technical Revenue Assurance capabilities.
Proactively review the existing control environment and control universe.
Work closely with CFT to ensure rapid closure of identified issues.
Escalate issues appropriately through the established hierarchy.
Take ownership of assigned issues and ensure they are fully resolved.
Ensure appropriate and accurate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is conducted.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports as required by the business and Group RAFM.
Report all revenue-loss incidents to management.
Maintain a satisfactory or above performance rating.
Perform any other reports or duties that may arise as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification in Data Systems and Analysis.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
