Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials in accordance with approved documentation.
Supervise the loading of items for customers and verify the accuracy of all dispatches.
Conduct daily physical stock counts and prepare opening balances for reporting to the office.
Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness within the store at all times.
Issue goods based on approved requisitions, invoice notes, and delivery notes.
Participate in stocktaking and stock verification exercises as scheduled by management.
Organize and label stock systematically to facilitate easy identification and retrieval.
Manage and supervise store personnel, including support and casual staff.
Train store staff in proper material handling, workplace safety, and inventory identification procedures.
Monitor and control material damage by ensuring proper handling and storage practices.
Ensure that physical stock levels consistently correspond with bin cards and system records.
Enforce compliance with all workplace safety standards and procedures.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
Academic Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
Self-motivated individual with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
