What this programme is offering
The 2026 Bolder Futures Fellowship: AI for Social Good, sponsored by Micron, is a fully remote, 12-week paid fellowship running September through December 2026. This program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students and early career professionals who want to develop practical, workplace-ready AI skills while driving real impact at a nonprofit organization. We also welcome applications from individuals navigating career transitions.
Fellows will receive hands-on training in AI tools, moving beyond theory into immediate, real-world applications, and will apply those skills to a meaningful project with a nonprofit partner of their choosing. Nonprofit partners benefit from dedicated fellow support and staff AI upskilling throughout the program.
Fellows should expect to commit 8 - 10 hours per week. Upon successful completion, fellows receive a $2,000 award.
