For all selected applicants, the 2027 Deakin University Scholarships offer fully-funded awards of full tuition waiver, annual stipends of $37,450, a relocation allowance of $1500, and comprehensive health insurance.

Deakin University RTP Scholarship Details
Deakin university offers a range of government and University-funded scholarships available to support you during your candidature.
The RTP scholarships are funded by the Australian Government, while the DUPR scholarships are funded by Deakin University. Both awards are available to domestic and international students.
PhD and research degree scholarships can cover tuition fees, overseas student health cover, living allowances paid as stipends, and relocation allowances.

Stipend and Allowances Value
A stipend of $37,450 per annum for 2025 tax-exempt
A relocation allowance from $500 to $1,500 (for single to family) is awarded to students who are moving from interstate or overseas in order to study at Deakin
For international students only: Single Overseas Student Health Cover policy for the duration of the student visa.
Doctoral Degree Duration
3 years for stipend and 4 years for the tuition fees offset
Research Master Degree Duration
2 years for stipend and 2 years for the tuition fees offset
