Aim and Benefits of Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship

The scholarship will cover the following:

• Tuition and living allowance fees

• Accommodation

• Medical insurance

• Visa processing

• Flight Tickets.

The Master's program is for 2 years, while the Ph.D program is for 3 years. Please note that students who are awaiting results/transcripts are not eligible to apply.

Requirements for Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

This scheme is exclusively for undergraduate scholarship beneficiaries of all universities supported by Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation who graduated with a First Class or Second Class Upper (2:1) degree

• Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen from one of the six geopolitical regions

• Applicant must be proficient in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills. Proof of English proficiency (such as IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent) may be required. • Applicant must be in good health

• Applicant must have no criminal record.

Criteria for PhD Program:

• Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen from one of the six geopolitical regions.

• Applicant must hold a Master’s degree with Distinction and demonstrate a strong research background.

• Applicant must be proficient in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills. Proof of English proficiency (such as IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent) may be required.

• Applicant must have a strong academic record with a history of excellence in previous studies.

• Applicant must have evidence of research publications or relevant work.

• Applicant must be in good health

• Applicant must have no criminal record.

Documents Required for Application

1. Valid International Passport (minimum 1 year's validity)

2. Two letters of recommendation (from a Professor or HOD) and one from an Industry Expert, attesting to the applicant’s academic abilities, professional skills, and potential for success.

3. Academic Transcript

4. Statement of Purpose (SOP)

5. Undergraduate Degree (For Master's Applicants)

6. Master's Degree with Distinction (For PhD Applicants).
