Benefits of Afrika meets Kansai - Africa Business Contest – Impact Challenge Award
To support the commercialization and further development of selected business ideas and ventures, the following prizes will be awarded:
a. Business Category
Grand Prize: JPY 1,000,000 (awarded to one entrant/team)
Excellence Award: JPY 500,000 (awarded to one entrant/team)b. Student Category
Excellence Award: JPY 200,000 (awarded to two entrants/teams)Afrika meets Kansai - Africa Business Contest – Impact Challenge Award Requirements
Applications are accepted in the following two categories:
A. Business Category (Existing Businesses and New Business Expansion Initiatives)
1. Companies and startups of any nationality that are already operating in Africa and are interested in collaborating with Japanese companies and startups.
2. Japanese companies and startups that are actively considering or preparing for business expansion into Africa.B. Student Category (Business Ideas and Early-Stage Concepts)
1. Students of any nationality enrolled in higher education institutions in Japan.
2. Students who are Japanese nationals or who hold a residence status allowing continuous residence in Japan (e.g., Permanent Resident, Special Permanent Resident, Long-Term Resident) and are enrolled in higher education institutions in Africa.Application Deadline
