Foundation Scholarship
The Anthony Costa Foundation, GO.FARM, and Australian Farming Services have partnered to offer 10 scholarships each year to help grow the Australian agriculture workforce. Eligibility
AVAILABLE TO:
Commencing Students
STUDY MODE: Online; On Campus; Mixed Mode (Online & On Campus)
CAMPUS: Wagga Wagga
Note: This scholarship runs in rounds with Round 1 Applications closing on the 31st October 2026 (for the 2027 intake).
MUST BE STUDYING IN:
1st Year
Bachelor of Agriculture
Bachelor of Agricultural Science
Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management
Bachelor of Viticulture
Bachelor of Wine Science
CONDITIONS:
Students must be either:
- from a low socio-economic background (financial hardship section of the application to be completed)
- from regional and rurally isolated areas in NSW, VIC and QLD, or
- a First Nations applicants - Must identify as First Nations in your application.
In the additional scholarship question section please answer the following question:
“What motivates you to pursue a career in Agriculture, and how could this scholarship help you overcome barriers and build a meaningful future in the industry?”
NOTE:
An opportunity to participate in course based work placement with goFARM*
Scholarship is valued at $15,000 paid in 1x $5,000 instalment per annum over 3 years for students undertaking full time study. Students studying part time will receive a 50% pro rata of the full scholarship
Ongoing instalment payments are subject to recipient maintaining a satisfactory academic performance and continued enrolment in course listed above.
