What this programme is offering
The Korean Federation of Design Industry Associations (KODIA) is calling for applications to the Global Design iT Award 2026.
This is Korea’s representative international design award, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.
The Award’s purpose is to discover design companies and designers who have created social impact with special ‘iT’ designs and to promote international exchange.
The competition covers the following seven categories:
Product Design
Visual Communication Design
Environmental Design
AI and New Media Design
Service Design
ESG Design
Safety Design
Any designer worldwide is eligible to apply.
The submitted works will be fairly evaluated by a multinational panel of global design experts actively working in the design industry and academia worldwide.
The awards ceremony will be held on 11 December 2026 at the Anniversary Hall in Some Chavit, Seoul. It will include the presentation of main awards such as Grand, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prizes, as well as special awards including the Minister of Trade, Industry and Resources Prize, the Minister of the Interior and Safety Prize, the President of the Korea Institute of Design Promotion Prize, and the President of the Korean Federation of Design Industry Associations Prize.
