What this programme is offering
Here is who we are looking for
Who you are:
You are an impact-driven entrepreneur or community leader who is leveraging technology or AI to address pressing challenges in your community. You might be an entrepreneur leading your own local solutions or a community leader advancing an initiative within or through an organization. You are a local leader with lived expertise of the challenges you’re solving. You have a demonstrated history of leadership and community impact, and you are motivated to create positive and measurable change through your work.
Where You Work:
You are located in, or creating measurable impact within, one of the following Google Data Center Communities:
United States: Georgia: Austell/Douglas County and the greater Atlanta area; South Carolina: Berkeley County; Iowa: Council Bluffs or Cedar Rapids; Indiana: Fort Wayne; Virginia: Loudoun County, Chesterfield County, Botetourt County, Prince William County; Texas: Midlothian, Red Oak; Nebraska: Omaha or Lincoln; Oklahoma: Stillwater; Tulsa (including the Pryor/Muskogee areas).
International: Netherlands: Groningen; Finland: Hamina and Kotka; United Kingdom: Waltham Cross/Hertfordshire, Thurrock or Epping/Essex, and the greater London area.
Your work directly benefits local communities in these regions.
Your Commitment:
You must be able to commit to the full program, including the virtual Immersive Week and weekly workshops held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Fellows will participate in one of two groups, each with a designated start time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM MT or 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM MT. We prioritize participants who are fully committed to active engagement throughout the entire program. The program’s success depends on building a strong community where all participants are enthusiastic about both learning and sharing their experiences with others.
Your Local Solution or Initiative:
We welcome both for-profit and non-profit structures. Your local solution or initiative has demonstrated early traction and impact in your community. This might look like engaged participants or customers, measurable results to share, pilot programs or prototypes in action, and possibly some level of funding through grants, investments, donations, or revenue. Whether you’re in the piloting and prototyping stages or further along in scaling your work, you are ready to strengthen your foundation and amplify your impact to the next level.
The Fellowship particularly welcomes leaders whose local solutions or initiatives focus on:
AI Skills Training & Technical Training Solutions: You are providing AI skills training, technical training, or workforce development opportunities to help communities gain the skills needed for the future of work.
Career Pathways Development: You are creating pathways that connect individuals to meaningful careers, economic mobility, or skills-based opportunities in your community.
What You Are Looking For:
You seek expert-guided entrepreneurial training with AI skills development, a supportive community for feedback, a broad mentor network to enhance your leadership, integration of Google’s AI products and resources, and opportunities to challenge yourself by leading a Basecamp event and other initiatives that benefit your local solution and community. You bring an entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset to this work.
