Eligibility Requirements for 2026 Google DeepMind AI Master’s Scholarships

To be considered for the 2026 Google DeepMind AI Master’s Scholarships, you must:

• Be a Turkish or international citizen.

• be admitted to one of the following eligible M.Sc. programs at ITU for the Fall 2026–2027 term:

      – Computer Engineering / Computer Science

      – Electrical and Electronics Engineering

      – Control and Automation Engineering

      – Game and Interaction Technologies.

• Note: For non-Computer Engineering/Computer Science programs, only applicants with an AI-focused track will be considered.

• Google DeepMind Scholars are expected to take at least four AI elective courses and conduct an AI-related thesis.

Among eligible applicants, priority will be given to:

• Female candidates

• Candidates who are not currently employed

Benefits of 2026 ITU Google DeepMind Scholarship

• Duration: Scholarship lasts 4 semesters for the M.Sc. program.

• Stipend: Scholarship offers a monthly stipend of 1000 USD.

• Relocation grant: Scholarship offers a relocation grant of 2000 USD.

• Equipment: Scholarship offers a one-off equipment grant of 2000 USD.

• Travel: Scholarship offers an annual academic travel grant of 2400 USD.

• Mentorship: Each recipient will be matched with a researcher from Google DeepMind to receive mentorship on personal career development in the field of AI.

Required Documents for 2026 Google DeepMind AI Masters Scholarship

Interested and qualified applicants would be required to provide the following documents;

• CV and academic transcript of the applicant.

• A statement of purpose that details the candidate’s previous research experience in AI, along with the future research objectives for their graduate studies.

• Up to three reference letters.
