Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:

  3. Have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of ABB at A level or an equivalent qualification.

  4. Submit their undergraduate course application through UCAS by 13 January 2027, the Equal Consideration Deadline.

  5. Applicants who receive an offer by 31 March 2027 must accept Newcastle University as either their Firm or Insurance choice by 3 May 2027.

Selection Criteria

Eligible applicants will be assessed based on:

  • Academic ability

  • Commitment to their chosen programme of study
