The Obama Foundation launched the Leaders Program to inspire, empower, and connect a diverse group of leaders committed to solving challenges in their communities and beyond.
The initiative began in Africa in 2018 before expanding to:
Asia Pacific in 2019.
Europe in 2020.
The United States in 2023.
The programme recognizes that meaningful change requires collaboration between leaders from different backgrounds, sectors, and regions. Participants join a global community of individuals who share a commitment to values-based leadership and community transformation.Participants take part in a range of activities designed to strengthen their leadership abilities, including:
