KAMPALA, Uganda – Startup Uganda has officially launched applications for its Consultant Pool 2026, inviting experienced researchers and consultants to support research and advisory projects that strengthen Uganda’s growing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The initiative aims to establish a network of qualified professionals who can undertake consultancy assignments on a project-by-project basis as opportunities emerge. Applications for the consultant pool will remain open until July 20, 2026.

Startup Uganda Seeks Researchers to Strengthen Innovation Ecosystem

As Uganda’s startup ecosystem continues to expand, Startup Uganda is seeking highly skilled researchers capable of generating evidence-based insights that support policy formulation, investment decisions, and ecosystem development.

Selected consultants will contribute to a wide range of assignments designed to improve understanding of the country’s entrepreneurial landscape while supporting innovation-driven economic growth.

The consultant pool is expected to provide expertise for future projects involving:

  • Innovation ecosystem assessments

  • Entrepreneurship research

  • Market and industry studies

  • Policy analysis

  • Data collection and field research

  • Advisory and evidence-based consultancy services

Consultant Pool to Support Future Research Assignments

Startup Uganda said the consultant pool will serve as a resource for future consultancy opportunities rather than immediate full-time employment.
