Aim and Benefits of TANDEM Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship
Placement with a university professor with relevant expertise and local knowledge for a mentoring program.
Support of the mentoring relationship by the DUS
Seminars for the development of key skills (twice a year, mandatory) on the following topics:
Mentoring as an opportunity and a responsibility
Self-management and learning management
Presentation training
Job application training
Business etiquette and communication
Conflict management
One personal one-on-one coaching session with a professional coach during your studies
Reimbursement of travel expenses for seminars and other trips related to TANDEM
Participation in scientific events (e.g., DHV symposium) and integration into networks
Provision of an annual access budget per scholarship recipient for study-related costs
Digital package for the purchase of digital technology, once included in the scholarship.
Requirements for TANDEM Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
Start of studies in the summer semester of 2026 or in the winter semester of 2026/27
Parental home without academic degree
A place in a Bachelor's degree program at a German university or college (excluding dual and private universities) or
A place in a state examination program at a German university or college (excluding dual and private universities). The TANDEM scholarship program is not aimed at Master's students.
Abitur/university entrance qualification at least good
