Young Eco-Feminist Climate Justice Leaders in Africa

Girls For Climate Action is a movement of Young women and Girls that are centering their realities and experiences to drive climate action and advocate for climate Justice. We are excited that you are interested in joining the Girls for Climate Action(G4CA) Movement. We believe that young women, Adolescent girls and youth in all their different diversities have experiences and realities of climate change that are important in shaping and providing working solutions for a livable and just planet. Since 2016, G4CA has been advocating for climate justice in various spaces at the national, regional and international level and we would not have counted success without the various voices of young women, girls and youth in the movement that are enabling change to happen. We are glad that you as well want to join us in the fight for climate justice across Africa! We are looking for individuals or organizations to join the biggest movement of young Eco-feminists and you can join if;

• You are an Individual climate activist or have a youth led/girl/young women led organizations below the age of 35 years.

• You are a supporter or an ally for young Eco-feminists work in their different diversities.

• Willingness to participate in movement activities not limited to ; movement building, convenings, advocacy work, campaigns, volunteering among others.

Why should you join us!

1. Join a Young Women Led movement that is creating spaces for young women and girls in climate justice and advocacy.

2. Get access to material that have been developed by youth and young women on climate justice and eco-feminists, climate advocacy handbooks for capacity strengthening.

3. Represent the movement in various national, regional and international convenings.

4. Allow movement members join you for your events, campaigns and activities.

5. Opportunities to collaborate for collaborative projects, proposals and hosting events and campaigns.

To support the work of the movement, individual members contribute 5000 UGX (2 USD) per year and 50,000 UGX for organizations. These resources support the advocacy at the national and local level, and the secretariat. Note: Please do not register again if you already registered.
