Branch Manager

FINCA Uganda is a subsidiary of FINCA Impact Finance and part of a network of 13 microfinance institutions and banks that provide socially responsible financial services that enable low – income individuals and communities to invest in the future. FINCA Uganda currently offers loans, savings and money transfer services in Uganda, one of the most competitive and dynamic microfinance markets in the world. FINCA is looking for a dynamic person to join their team of professionals as Branch Managers. Details are highlighted as follows:

Reports to: Regional Manager

Summary

The Branch Manager’s position is mainly a leadership role. The candidate will head the Branch team. As such She/He supervises all the operations of the Branch in line with the institutional policies and procedures. She/He will plan, coordinate and manage the business growth and development of savings of the Branch by supervising and monitoring performance of staff in line with the strategic plan.

Qualifications and Experience

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, and Business Administration or any other business related course.

2. 4 year’s work experience in a recognized Microfinance Deposit Taking Institution or Commercial Bank.

3. At least one year’s experience at the manager level, or other acceptable supervisory capacity (such as Credit Supervisor, or Accountant).
