What you'll be stepping into

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients by coordinating client requests, obtaining required information, resolving service issues, and ensuring timely delivery of banking solutions.

  • Monitor client performance, portfolio quality, and risk indicators, proactively identifying emerging risks and escalating issues to Relationship Managers, Sector Heads, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Support business development initiatives by maintaining pipeline reports, tracking deal progress, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and assisting in the execution of new transactions.

  • Coordinate workflow and information exchange between Coverage, Credit, Operations, Risk, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction execution and portfolio management.

  • Prepare management reports, client reviews, portfolio analyses, and performance updates to support informed decision-making and achievement of business objectives.

  • Support Relationship Managers and the Sector Head in managing and growing a portfolio of Manufacturing clients through proactive client engagement, relationship management, and identification of business opportunities.

  • Conduct financial, client, industry, and market analysis to provide insights that support credit decisions, client strategy, business development, and portfolio management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Professional banking, finance, or credit qualification is an added advantage.

  • Three (3) years’ working experience in a financial institution with at least two (2) years’ working experience in customer relationship management & sales in Corporate and Institutional Banking

  • Good understanding of corporate banking products, credit processes, and risk management principles.

  • Ability to conduct client, industry, and market research and translate findings into actionable business insights.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
