GARAGE SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Garage Supervisor will support the coordination and supervision of garage activities to ensure that company vehicles receive timely maintenance, servicing, and repairs, contributing to vehicle reliability and operational readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and supervise day-to-day garage activities.
Monitor vehicle servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance requirements.
Assess reported vehicle faults and coordinate appropriate maintenance or repair actions.
Work closely with the Fleet Supervisor to prioritise vehicles requiring servicing or repairs.
Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs and ensure completed work is properly followed up.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, repairs, spare parts, maintenance schedules, and garage activities.
Support preventive maintenance planning to minimise vehicle downtime.
Monitor the use and accountability of garage tools, equipment, spare parts, and other maintenance resources.
Coordinate with mechanics and other technical personnel to ensure efficient completion of assigned work.
Identify recurring mechanical or maintenance issues and report them to management.
Ensure garage activities are conducted in an organised and safe working environment.
Support proper documentation of vehicle faults, repairs, and maintenance history.
Provide timely updates on vehicle maintenance status and operational readiness.
Promote responsible use of garage resources and adherence to company procedures.
Perform other garage-related duties assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Automotive Engineering from a recognised university.
