What you'll be stepping into
Job Purpose.
Support with the day-to-day clinical activities within Neighbourhood clinic to ensure the highest possible medical care.
Key Responsibility Areas.
1. Implement duties as per medical procedures in line with organisation standards. standard operating procedures, medical policies, and maintain practice accordingly.
2. Participate in daily clinical rounds and ensure that clinical issues are resolved promptly to prioritise patient's welfare.
3. Identify and contain infections early and implement appropriate infection control measures with diligence.
4. Participate in infants' feed calculations and nutritional management of those with malnutrition, under the guidance of the health care coordinator.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and provide regular clinical updates on infants.
6. Participate in health programmes within and outside Neighbourhood as and when a need arises.
7. Participate in colleague-led training to maintain a high standard of care and implement evidence-based education and practice.
8. Coordinate good health management and hygiene for the patient through regular health-related education to the general staff.
9. Perform daily duties as allocated by health care coordinator.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.

The applicant for the role should hold at least a Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution.
Must be a registered Nurse with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
At least two years' experience in nursing in a school setting.
