Innovative HIV Prevention Research: Contribute to a pilot randomized controlled trial evaluating a community-oriented approach to PrEP delivery.
Community Impact: Support HIV prevention services for rural women at elevated risk for HIV and help improve access to PrEP care.
Field Research Experience: Build practical expertise in recruitment, informed consent, participant interviewing, retention tracking, and longitudinal follow-up.
Supervisory Experience: Work directly with and supervise Peer Workers delivering home-based PrEP services.
PrEP Service Exposure: Gain experience with PrEP refills, HIV self-testing support, adherence counselling, referrals, and community-based service delivery.
Research Quality: Develop experience in protocol compliance, data quality assurance, specimen management, and reporting study concerns.
Operational Skills: Build practical experience in activity budgeting, participant reimbursements, financial accountability, reporting, and study logistics.
