Role overview
What you'll be stepping into
ACCOUNTABILITIES
i. Coordinate repair and maintenance of the NMS Fleet, warehouse
equipment and cold chain equipment at all levels of the vaccines supply
chain across the country.
ii. Provide support for creation, coordination and implementation of
maintenance best practices, strategies, policies, processes, and
procedures to aid and improve operational performance
iii. Procure and safe keep spare stock for NMS Fleet, warehouse equipment
and cold chain equipment.
iv. Design and plan all repairs and installation activities
v. Identify and implement a proactive maintenance strategy that ensures
efficient operations
vi. Develop and maintain a maintenance schedule for fleet and mechanical
installations
vii. Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders within and outside the
NMS.
viii. Supervise maintenance staff for efficient operations of the section
ix. Identify any risks noted during execution of duties and formally report to
the immediate supervisor.
x. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
An Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, or
related field

A postgraduate diploma is an added advantage
WORK EXPERIENCE
4 years working experience in a related field with at least 2 years, experience
at Supervisory level.
