What you'll be stepping into
Key Responsibilities
Maintain strict control and accountability of all mined material by preventing smuggling and side-selling, ensuring accurate weighing and record-keeping, overseeing secure material movements, and investigating and escalating any discrepancies between production and delivery
Enforce site safety by ensuring mandatory PPE compliance, promoting safe working practices, stopping unsafe activities, and maintaining first aid readiness and incident reporting
Manage day-to-day relationships with artisanal miners by ensuring only registered miners operate on site, maintaining accurate attendance and activity records, and supporting efficient planning and recovery activities.
Coordinate material handling, transport and delivery to the APRU processing plant while ensuring secure hand-over, preventing losses, and providing daily operational updates to geology, processing and management teams.
Key Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Procurement & Logistics , Mining Engineering or any other related field.
HSE Certificate is an added advantage.
3-5years in mining operations
Leadership & Enforcement skill
Ability to keep Record & pay attention to Details
Strong Stakeholder & Relationship Management skill
