What you'll be stepping into
The Inventory & Procurement Professional will be responsible for planning and purchasing parts and materials for assigned warehouses or branches. The role involves balancing inventory levels with demand, placing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate and healthy stock levels.
The successful candidate will contribute to efficient inventory management and procurement processes while ensuring that materials are available when needed and inventory records remain accurate.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve:
Planning inventory requirements for assigned warehouses or branches.
Purchasing parts and materials based on demand and operational requirements.
Balancing inventory levels against demand to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Preparing and placing purchase orders.
Monitoring stock levels and inventory health.
Maintaining accurate inventory records.
Supporting procurement process management.
Managing supplier relationships and following up on procurement requirements.
Using ERP systems to support inventory and procurement activities.
Analyzing inventory and procurement data to support decision-making.
Preparing inventory and procurement reports.
Supporting continuous improvement of inventory and procurement processes.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in inventory management or procurement.
Experience in automotive parts is preferred.
